Runnin Rebels knock off Air Force to stay alive in Mountain West Tournament

Eleven teams from the Mountain West will gather at the Thomas and Mack Center for the annual Mountain West basketball tournament. The Runnin’ Rebels concluded the regular season with an overall record of 17-14 and an 11-9 record in conference play, securing the sixth seed. As a result, the Rebels will face the 11th-seeded Air Force Falcons, who ended the conference season with a record of 1-19 and only managed to win 4 out of their 31 games overall.
Despite the Falcons’ poor record, they certainly gave UNLV fans and Coach Kevin Kruger a scare tonight.
